Deane Nicole Aboud

Associate

Deane Aboud was admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW in May of 2016.  In September of 2019, she was made an Associate of the firm.

Deane is also a University Lecturer at Western Sydney University, lecturing in Building and Construction Law.

Deane practices in the areas of Wills & Estates, Criminal Law, Project Building & Constructions and Intellectual Property. Her main area of practice is Wills & Estates.

She is experienced in preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointment of Enduring Guardians, as well as preparing the relevant material involved in the Grant of Probate process and Family Provision Claims.

Highly skilled in legal research, Deane has fine attention to detail and a strong understanding of the broader commercial implications when dealing with business issues.  

Deane works closely with clients and understands the value of forging strong working relationships. Her approach is both collaborative and engaging, and she is adept at thinking outside the box to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.  Often during client consultations, Deane will use flow charts and diagrams to assist her clients to understand complex legal matters and they can rest assured that their matter is being handled professionally.

Highly passionate about educating people in the community, Deane also writes articles and delivers presentations on various estate planning topics.

Outside of work, Deane enjoys gardening, knitting and arts & crafts.
