Deane Nicole Aboud

Deane Aboud was admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2016 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. In 2019 Maclarens appointed Deane to an Associate and in 2024 she was made Partner of the firm.
Deane is also a University Lecturer at Western Sydney University. She teaches both Bachelor and Masters students in the departments of the ‘School of Law’ and ‘School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment’. She has great delight lecturing in Building Law (undergrad tutorials) and Construction Claims (postgrad).
Deane has worked across a wide range of practice areas throughout her career including, Wills & Estates, Criminal Law, Project Building & Constructions, Litigation and Intellectual Property.
Her current main area of practice is Wills & Estates. She is experienced in preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointment of Enduring Guardians, as well as preparing the relevant material involved within the Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration process and Family Provision Claims.
Highly passionate about educating people in the community, Deane writes articles and delivers many presentations on various estate planning topics. Further to this, Deane also mentors young lawyers and provides support, guidance and opportunities to help young lawyers succeed in their careers.
